From a young age, I felt an innate desire to create, a passion for art that carried me through my formative years and led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. This academic journey opened my eyes to awhole new world of art, far beyond the childhood imagination I once knew.
It was during this time thatI developed a deeper understanding of artistic principles—mastering skills, exploring concepts, andcultivating critical thinking. Art became not just a form of expression, but a purposeful, disciplined practice.
In my studies, I was introduced to the complexities of art history, design principles, and the importanceof conceptual ideas. The focus was on observation and intentionality, whether it was exploringthe intricacies of form, space, texture, and composition or solving complex challenges like integratingmood and narrative into art. I was taught to appreciate the cultural and philosophical influences behindgreat works, from the Renaissance to Modernism, and encouraged to develop my unique artistic voice.Yet, formal education was only the beginning of my journey. To truly master the art of painting,I spent years honing my techniques through dedicated practice, workshops,and studying the works of legendary artists like John Singer Sargent and Joaquín Sorolla.Their expressive brushwork and captivating use of light and shadow have profoundly influenced my own style and approach to painting.

Today, I work from my home-based studio in Chennai—a sanctuary where light, color, and inspiration converge.
